America's 232nd birthday is coming up on July 4, and this year Independence Day falls on a holiday. Bethany: The 50th Freedom Festival will include a parade carnival rides, contests and more. Gates open at 10 a.m. at Eldon Lyon Park. Events include bingo, turtle races, a cake walk, eating contests (including tacos), sack races and other games.
