UPDATED: 7:45 pm CDT July 3, 2008

Skyrockets won’t be the only thing in the air on the Fourth of July in Oklahoma City.

It’s also an Ozone Alert day, meaning pollution levels could be high.

Medical experts said children, seniors and people with asthma, diabetes and cardiovascular conditions could have problems breathing.

City and county leaders are asking everyone to help reduce the pollution on Friday. They encourage drivers to limit driving, lawn mowing and buying gasoline in the afternoon.
